Scottsdale, AZ — December 9, 2014 — nettime solutions® today announced a new geofencing technology feature for stratustime® time and attendance software users. These geofencing capabilities have been released to all clients who utilize stratustime’s mobile interface for mobile workers to clock in and out, record meals and breaks, and transfer between departments.

Geofencing is a software feature that uses a global positioning system (GPS) to define a geographical boundary, thus creating a virtual barrier. Geofencing joins stratustime’s other mobility feature, geolocation, which identifies the geographical location of a recorded punch such as a clock in/out or a job transfer.

“We’ve previously been able to offer our clients the ability to map precisely when and where an employee punched,” said Bahan Sadegh, Director, Product Development – nettime. “Now with our geofencing technology, managers have both the ability to restrict employees from recording punches in unauthorized locations, and they also have the power to easily configure those geofences and deploy them to the appropriate employees.”

Geofencing joins stratustime’s other time and attendance features such as KPI tracking, labor data analytics, employee scheduling, and advanced accrual processing. To experience an online demonstration of stratustime, visit http://www.nettimesolutions.com/request-demo.
